Apples are versatile fruits steeped in magical lore. They are great plain, raw in salads and cooked into breads and desserts. Apples are a sacred fruit used at many harvest festivals including Samhain. When cut horizontally, an apple will reveal a pentagram.

Apples are useful in dishes used to support love, health and inner vision and support liver health. Apples also help calm intestinal upsets and are useful against both diarrhea and constipation.

Apples come in red, green and yellow and can be used in color magic.

Pack an apple for dessert in your on-the-go lunch to help clean your teeth and freshen your breath and to aid in digestion.
