A taglock is an item used to bind a target to a spell. It is usually something that comes from the body as it should contain the DNA of the target. An item such as a tooth, a lock of hair, nail trimmings, or blood is generally considered acceptable. Clothing can also be used as can any item uniquely crafted by the individual, a signature, a photo, or a fingerprint may also be used.
