Reading List

In my experience, new Pagans are generally told to Read Read Read, but aren't told what to read. There is a lot of garbage out there. Luckily, I have already read a bunch of garbage, so you don't have to. Under each of the handy headings you will find various books that I have read and what I think of them as well as various advice and blatherings about how to find good resources.

The ADF Druidry website has an excellent list of recommended reading attached to their dedicate study program. I could hardly hope to compete so I will just reference it here. You can also find a TON of handy info, all cross indexed at the Witchipedia.

If you read no further than this, let me leave you with some of my favorites- even though they aren't really technically Pagan books.

The first is, well, basically anything by Don Miguel Ruiz. He is brilliant and his work will teach you the mind set you need to truly live a Magical life.

And You Are Psychic: The Art of Clairvoyant Reading & Healing by Debra Katz. It will teach you how to center and control your energy, a wonderful starting point for anyone on a magical path.
